1. El is an elohistic name which has to do with the relationship of God with his
creation. Elohim-is the plural of "EL" and speaks of plurality of divine Persons. Used also of the fullness of the Godhead
in the Son (Psalm 45:2,6). EL signifies the object of worship rather that a divine name. Used about 2500 times in The Tanakh
(Hebrew ) (Christians call it the Old Testament.) Genesis 1:1.
2. The Hebrews say of God and His name, "Himself is His Name, and His Name is Himself." Yahweh (Jehovah, or Lord) is Jehovahistic
Name and in Hebrew-(I AM that I am ) Exodus 3:14-15). " I well be what I will be". The Self-Existent One revealing Himself
to man in redemptive purpose. (Malachi 3:6)
